We played at the children's arcade that sat next to the indoor water park. My kids swam for hours while I grabbed a pizza from Garbanzos. We spent our evenings in the two-bedroom suite after using the breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit.

Bruce serving breakfast in the morning

I ate a hearty breakfast every morning where Bruce served and entertained guests in the breakfast room. I swam in the indoor heated pool while my kids played nearby, and I used the new laundry machines before departing for the Alerus Center. I slept in a king bed suite with a fridge, and I parked my vehicle in the secure parking lot.

Full kitchens opposite the Alerus Center

I cooked meals in my full kitchen and utilized the fridge to store my groceries. The room sat directly opposite the Alerus Center, so I walked to my event easily after resting in the recliner. I also washed my laundry in the on-site machines during my stay.

Four whirlpools in the atrium courtyard

I used the four whirlpools located in the common area courtyard, which also features an indoor pool and waterfalls. I ate from the continental breakfast buffetwith a large variety of food options every morning. I spent time relaxing on the indoor balcony overlooking the gardens. My room stayed quiet every night after ten.

I appreciated the layout where one person used the shower while the rest of us used the toilet and mirrors to get ready. Sunset views from the fifth floor terrace

I watched the sunset from the 5th-floor terrace after I finished a workout in the gym. Every evening I returned to my room to find local Widmans Chippers and a sleep mask left at my bedside. Skies322 provided meals on the second floor while I enjoyed the convenience of the coffee shop in the lobby. I parked my car in the free valet during my 4-night stay.

Hot pancakes from the breakfast machine

I ate hot pancakes from the automatic machine in the breakfast room during my stay. We swam in the pool and rested in the two spas, clean and kept at a warm temperature. My suite included a walk-in shower with toiletries fastened to the wall.

Dining space with two separate tables

I utilized the two separate tables inside the house for my family during our visit. Since we had a full kitchen available for our meals, we gathered around the table after preparing breakfast in the morning. Our living room gave us plenty of space to relax while we stayed for two nights.

Patio rooms beside the water

I stayed in a pool side room which opened directly onto the surrounding patio area. After swimming, I looked for the Judgemental Cow near the scrambled eggs and sausage at breakfast.

I attended the social hour on Monday and Tuesday, where I ate tacos and ravioli. My two-bedroom suite included a full-size kitchen which I used to prepare bottles for the babies. The windows opened when I needed fresh air in my room, while the breakfast included many choices for the boys.

Late access to the pool

I swam in the pool until midnight, which gave me plenty of time after returning from a funeral. The kids enjoyed the wading pool with its slide while I relaxed in the adjacent hot tub. Warm chocolate chip cookies awaited me at the front desk when I checked in. I slept in a suite with a private bedroomwith the extra space I needed during my four-night visit.
